2022 AIAAR State Convention – October 26-28th 

AIA Arkansas is pleased to host its annual state convention in person at the Embassy Suites NW Hotel & Convention Center located in Rogers, AR on October 26-28, 2022.

This year’s convention is filled with inspiring and educational programming, exhibitor tradeshow, opportunities for connection and networking and of course the 2022 AIAAR Design Awards Celebration banquet. Prominent keynote speakers will join us to share their knowledge on the issues impacting your practice today. Courses to help you improve your business and to motivate you to improve your communities. From curtain walls until the curtain falls, you're sure to get the education and connections that you need. 

Be sure to visit with vendors in the Expo Hall presenting the latest technology, application, product and service information for architects and other design and construction industry leaders to implement in current and future projects.

BIKITECTURE TOUR: 

Bikitecture 2022 will tour through portions of Rogers, Bentonville and Springdale, Ark. with various stops along the way, highlighting areas of historic background, recently renovated buildings, new building construction, urban development, future developments, and continued growth within this region of Arkansas. Members of the NWA Trails & Bikeways will join us for part of the tour to discuss current progress, master planning, and ongoing work with the city’s multifaceted trail system. Each stop along the route will have a brief discussion by a presenter about the significance of each site. Not only will this tour educate about architectural significance in the area, but it will also act to promote safe bicycle riding and healthier communities in general.  

The first leg of the route will begin in Rogers, travel north to Bentonville, then return to Rogers. It will be approximately two hours. The second leg of the route will travel south from Rogers to Springdale. It will be approximately one hour. Refreshments will be provided during event. Cost to Participate: $25per person

Cancellation Policy: Convention registrations cancelled after 5:00 PM (CDT) on Friday, Oct 7, will not receive a refund. Cancellations prior to Friday, Oct 7, are subject to a $50 administrative handling fee.  The balance will be refunded.

STATE GOLF TOURNAMENT:

The AIA Arkansas State Golf Tournament will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Shadow Valley Country Club. This is a 4-man scramble tournament that golfers from the architecture industry throughout the state look forward to this opportunity to gather with their peers for a day of golf, food, socializing and, of course, competition!   Cost: $125 individual / $500 for a team. Lunch is included.
